CPT – Cone Penetration Testing

Geo-Ex has both track and truck mounted rigs to perform cone penetration testing.  Our largest rig has 30 tons of pushing capacity, which gives us the ability to push the cone to depths necessary for foundation design.

If required for the design, Geo-Ex can use a seismic cone to obtain shear wave velocity values for the soil profile under investigation.

Geo-Ex can install instrumentation, collect soil and water samples, and install small diameter monitoring wells.
